Heath's Story
Life
After seven years of college in Wisconsin, Hewlett-Packard moved me to Chicago, Pittsburgh, back to Chicago, and then to Atlanta. Having the summer Olympics a few miles down the road in 1996 was a lifechanging experience. Unfortunately, it also unleashed the unquenchable desire to collect Olympic memorabilia. $$$$. In 1997, just when I was getting used to being single, I responded to a posting at another alumni website. 18 months and several hundred e-mail messages later, I married a 1987 graduate of Singapore American School, 12 years younger than me. The dog and daughter soon followed.
Workplace

em project, I became a credit specialist in suburban Chicago when the project was put on hold. After 4 years the project was reinstated and I became the project manager of the credit and collection system. When my job moved to the Bay Area, I stayed in Chicago doing local technical support. That job moved to Atlanta and I became a business process anaylyst managing demo inventory, but spending most of my time programming. When that job moved to Atlanta, so did I. When HP spun off the non-computer businesses to form Agilent Technologies, I chose to go with Agilent as a data reporting specialist. A few years later Agilent spun off the semiconductor test business to form Verigy.
