Heath's Story
Life
After high school I went to MSU and graduated in 1992 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. I went to work for a company called Cargill in Dayton, Ohio and stayed there for one year. It was there that I met my wife, and in 1993 we moved to St. Louis, Missouri. My oldest son Connor was born in St. Louis in 1998. In 2000 we moved back to Dayton, Ohio to be near my wife's family. After 4 years of trying for another child, my wife and I decided to adopt. In March of 2002 we went to Vladivostok, Russia and adopted little Alexander. In November of that same year we were pleasantly surprised by the arrival of Sophia.

For the past four years I've been going to law school in the evenings, and will graduate in September of 2008. I will then take the Ohio state bar exam in February of 2009. Although my original plan was to relocate to Colorado and become a patent attorney, plans have a way of changing and it looks like I'll be staying here in Ohio for a while.
Once I finish school and pass the bar I plan on spending a lot more time with my family, coaching my kids' sports teams, resuming scuba diving and getting back to triathlon training. I'm thinking of taking up kayaking as well. So much to do and so little time...
