Life
*You want a Story?* Then read on! Well after dropping out of high school in 1985 I received my GED while in the Army from 1985-1989. Then graduated with a BS in Criminal Justice from IUSB and then Graduated with a J.D. from Notre Dame Law School in 1998. I have travelled the world (over 38 countries). I have lived in both Germany (3 years while in the army) and London (2nd year of law school). I worked for the law firm of Dinsmore & Shohl in Cincinnati, Ohio, where I was heavily involved in tobacco litigation (we represented the infamous company Brown & Williamson of "The Insider"). While in my 3rd year of law school, I helped coach the Adams High School Mock Trial Team to a State Championship (some of you might have seen the newspaper article about me in the South Bend Tribune in June of 1998). SB to obtain a teaching certificate for Secondary English Education. However, I was accepted to the Notre Dame South Bend ACE (Alliance for Catholic Education) Masters of Education program and have been teaching Language Arts for the last three years at St. Anthony's in South Bend (2 blocks from my house). I also coach the Marian High School Mock Trial Team in an effort to bring down the Adams powerhouse that has won the state championship every year but one since I helped coach them to their first win in 1998. I am also starting an MA in English program this year (my fourth college degree). I guess I like school more now then I did in high school. Oh, I just won the democratic nomination for St. Joseph County Council District H by beeting a 6 term incumbent. Remember this quote: "Things we did can be tempered with time, it is regret for the things we did not do that is inconsolable."
