Heather's Story
Life
My mom was born in Meadow Lake, Sk on October 23rd, 1967. My father was born in Regina, Sk on February 22nd, 1968. They met when they were 20 years old. They married just outside of Allan, Sk on February 25th, 1989. I was born in Meadow Lake, Sk on June 28th, 1989. My brother was born in Saskatoon, Sk on January 9th 1991. In my lifetime the only things I've had to do are put up with my brother having Oppositional Defience Disorder, moving around a whole lot, and having Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy. I didn't have to worry about the epilepsy part of the whole thing until I was 12 years old though. Now I'm close to being 16 years old, and still epileptic, but it might just be something I have while I'm a teenager. That would about conclude my life...at least for now!
School
I've had to attend 8 different schools in my school life and I'm only finishing grade 10 right now. In kindergarden, I went to Robert Melrose Elementary School in Kelvington, Hanley Composite in Hanley, Sk....Expand for more
and Bishop Klein in Saskatoon, Sk. In Grade 1, I attended the school of Henry Kelsey in Saskatoon, Sk for 8 months. I also attended Lakeview Elementary School in Meadow Lake, Sk for the rest of the school year. For grade 2 i was enrolled in Lakeview Elementary School in Meadow Lake, Sk for the whole year. In Grade 3 I attended Jubilee Elementary School on the opposite side of Meadow Lake, Sk. I attended that school for just one year. For Grade 4 it was back to Lakeview Elementary School again. I stayed at this school until the end of Grade 5. In grade 5 I was taken out of school and homeschooled for 1 month. My brother was homeschooled from the time we were taken out to the end of the year. After moving Islay in the last few days of summer holidays between Grade 5 and Grade 6, I started to attend Kitscoty Elementary School in Kitscoty, Ab for just one year. I'm now attending school at Kitscoty Junior Senior High in Kitscoty, Ab. I still have 2 years of senior high and I'm done school.
