Heather's Story
Life
In January 1998 I retired from the Univ of Colo after 28 years of service, last working as Program Coordinator at the Graduate School of Business Administration. I enjoy time with four of my grandkids (Megan 10, Jack 8, Ryan 6, Jill 3) who live in Columbine Valley CO with my daughter Holly 38(BHS 1984) and her husband Bob Turner 41, a commercial real estate broker. My son Chad Weiffenbach 34(BHS 1988) is a homebuilder who lives in Watkinsville GA with wife Karyn 32, who grew up in Athens GA. They have two boys: Walt 3 and Brent, born April 21, 2004. My significant other John Mills has a daughter Gretel 35 who is married to Chris Kenniff 34 and lives in Summitt NJ. She is a financial consultant at Deloitt and he is a professional classical guitarist. ll over the US promoting and selling at about 20 quilt, sewing and craft expos. I love to travel so this gives me an opportunity to also tour historical sites, visit museums and art galleries, enjoy botanical gardens and local cuisines, and see family and friends scattered throughout the country. 9-11 did not scare me away from flying! I suffered a setback in September 2000 when I fell at the Opryland Hotel and broke both my arms. For the better part of a year most of my time was devoted to physical therapy. I am also involved with the Oasis Wellness Network company currently located in Broomfield CO, but moving to the Seattle area summer 2004. In two years I have improved my osteoporosis and overall health dramatically by using their nutritional products and am just starting their weight management program. I would enjoy hearing from old classmates by email, snail mail or phone.
