Life Once I finished college and after 4 years of teaching in Houston and carrying on a long-distance relationship, I moved to Scotland in August 2004 to start my life with my fiance, Brian. We were married in July 2005 at Culcreuch Castle in Fintry, Scotland. After spending two years living and working in the UK, Brian and I decided to move back to Texas in summer of 2006. I got my old job back, but Brian had to stay behind to get the house ready to sell. The folks at his job were fantastic - when he told them he was leaving to move to the U.S., his boss secretly started working the higher-ups to authorize Brian to keep his job and work remotely from Houston. He finally got everything sorted out with his visa, and he arrived in late September 2007. Since then, we've been busy doing fun things like relearning how to be a married couple, furnishing our apartment, and adopting kitties. In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, reading, traveling, going to the movies, and playing World of Warcraft (yes, I'm still a total dork!).
