Heather's Story
Life
I just got married on June 4, 2005 to my love of 8 years, Michael Jacobson. We live in Watkinsville with our new kitten, Squirmy. I'm enjoying spending time with my new hubby, taking 8am runs every morning, laughing at my own jokes, drawing, painting, watching my Braves, and reading all the books I didn't have time to read while I was in school. I love being near my family here in Watkinsville, but I yearn to be elsewhere. I'd give almost anything to travel the world. My loves include Michael :), vanilla ice cream, turn-of-the-century books and authors, thunderstorms, music, and the beach :) This is my life in a nutshell--I know I sound boring, but really, I'm quite happy!
School
Hmmm....school memories...I fell off the jungle gym in the first grade and chipped my front tooth, shot chocolate milk out my nose in the second grade...Expand for more
, got my foot stuck in the tire swing on the playground in the fourth grade, made a guillotine out of a refridgerator box and had off with Marie Antionatte's head in my history class in middle school, and well, highschool...I embarassed myself WAAAY too many times there...we won't go there...not today at least.......if you really must know, just ask!
Workplace
I volunteered at the hospital where I dressed up in a giant duck costume and visted the children in PEDS (it's funny: even though you're wearing this giant duck head, when parents take pictures of you with their children, you STILL smile), worked at a tea room as a waitress, cook, hostess, etc. (you name it, I did it!) for 3 years, did a paid internship with a couturier near Atlanta for just over a year, and am currently employed at Stein Mart. My first REAL job begins on October 4!!!
