Heather Knapp:  

After high school I attended Westminster Choir College of Rider University in Princeton. I enjoyed living in Princeton; that is where I met my wonderful husband Tom. While in school I was able to experience amazing things like being onstage at Carnegie Hall. During those five years (yes five) I met some wonderful friends, partied A LOT and got a great education. I met my husband Tom through a mutual friend at (where else) the Jersey shore. We dated all through college and were engaged on Christmas Day my senior year. After all those fun times, I managed to graduate in 95 with a BA in Music . Right after graduation I packed everything I owned and moved to Liverpool NY (right outside of Syracuse). In September of 1996, Tom and I were married back home in Jersey. I got a job teaching piano for the Catholic schools where I worked for about 5 years. During those years we added two dogs and a cat to our family; Bear, Jersey and Winnie. We enjoyed those early years learning about our new community. It was tough moving away from everyone to a place where we knew nobody, but it was during that time we learned a lot about ourselves and each other. In 2001 we bought our first home and I started my new job as the Assistant Director of a childcare facility. Tom joined the fire department and we really started to feel like we were "home".
