Heather's Story

Lived the life of moving around so much because Daddy was in the Service. Nevada, Arizona, Iowa, Florida, Maryland, Hawai'i, Colorado and Virginia, among 20 other states. Graduated and moved to Colorado, lived there for 40+ years. Now, I live in Virginia with the Love of My Life, Scott Massman, Class of '81. Edit-Lived with Scott for a year and a half, we became engaged..then Scott passed away, suddenly. The Love of My Life, Gone. Moved back to Colorado, as I hadn't finished selling my house yet. I miss My Love so much. He returned to his faith in Jesus before he passed, so there is much comfort knowing that he is with Him. Can't wait to be wit...Expand for more

I have begun attending GriefShare at my church, and I recommend it very much. You are with others who all need compassion, empathy, support and friendship. Love my family and friends and classmates and former co-workers. Watching my children thrive causes my heart to burst. Living my best life makes my heart sing. Took an early retirement from a well-known beer factory, and finding my spirit. Love connecting with the people I've known and know now. The Gifts in This Life are People, not Things. Praise Him!
