Heather's Story
Life
After living in California for three years, I was offered a job teaching French at Wilkes Central, so I hightailed it back to Wilkesboro. My extended family was quite pleased, but as much as I loved being home, I could not stay long. I met Rich Tedder, fell in love, was accepted at Vanderbilt, so Rich and I packed up and moved to Music City. Fast forward two year...Expand for more
s- the program was challenging but a wonderful experience, and I emerged in May 2005 with a MA in French Literature. Since then, we have moved to Baton Rouge, LA, where I am pursuing a PhD in French at Lousiana State. We came right before Katrina, so we have lived through some exciting times since coming to tha Boot. We've made lots of friends, and things are fabulous!
