Heather's Story
Life
My life has taken many interesting turns. I moved around a bit after leaving Quincy and Portola--a long story that probably doesn't matter in the big scheme of things.
My dream of being a singer never panned out--but I have no one to blame but myself. I had many fascinating opportunities that I watched pass me by.
My greatest earthly accomplishment (excepting my two beautiful children) is that I am a published author. I'm currently finishing my fourth novel in a series of seven (family saga, suspense, romantic suspense). The first garnered some film interest that has yet to work itself out. The first three are out, but my publisher and I plan on rebooting them with book 4's release (titles, covers, website, etc.). Book 1 was featured in a catalog in the AARP event "Orlando at 50" in September 2010. If you want to look at my web site to get an idea, you can go to tiesthatbindsaga "dot" com.

e. In 2011, I moved back to Sacramento to help take care of my ailing father and to reunite with the love of my life. We married in 2013.
I joined Classmates in hopes of getting back in touch with folks who remember their grade school years. I have missed everyone so much and enjoy rekindling friendship. Whenever I can, I visit Plumas County and recall my childhood friends (who often don't remember me). It is my sincere hope that you have all found your dreams, or that you've at least discovered the path that will take you where you want to be.
Social media is not my friend, for the most part. I left FB and Twitter in January 2021. I may have to rethink that as I continue on with the series (my publisher says so). I'm still on Instagram, but don't go there a whole lot. In any case, I would love to get in touch with folks from Quincy Elementary, Portola Elementary, Howe Avenue Middle School, Encina High School, and San Juan High School. Like I said, I moved around a lot. But if you want to reach out, I'd love to hear from you!
