Life
An Internet chatroom brought my husband and I together almost four years ago. Now, we live in the Chicagoland area with two children, Jake, almost 3, and Lia, 1 1/2. My husband, the exotic foreigner that he is, makes me happy in every way that I could imagine and I'm sure there are ways that I haven't even thought of that he's planning to try. That's the thing about Eastern European men - they are thoughtful in different ways than American men. And the accent....wow....

Do I love my job? I have authority as a manager while I spend time in classrooms with the children I love to teach. I look forward to everyday when I can watch a child learn a new word and try it out with his friends. I love watching the wonder on a two-year-old's face when she's playing with a funnel in the water table. I live for the days when I mentor a young teacher's assistant with a small nod of encouragement about a lesson on farm animals with three-year-olds. I love my job.
