School
I want to thank Mrs. Shafer, my art teacher. The skills I learned in art have served me very well in life. Also, Mr. Botts. At the time, I thought typing was a joke. Now, my typing skills have been the cornerstone of a very rewarding job track. Also, Mr. Tirk, who helped me survive my serious lack of social skills. Ms. Roupus, who would be shocked to learn that I do public speaking for fees!!!! THANKS!!! Finally, Ms. Kincaid, who taught me that there is more in life than high school.

Workplace
I worked at a horse farm throughout high school. I worked at SAGA now Marriot foods at a worker than a student manager in college. After college, I got a job as a paramedic for 9 years at McDonough District Hospital. I also taught the EMT program at WIU for 8 years, and was the curriculum coordinator for EMTv. I freelanced as a graphic designer. Now, I work for the Center for Best Practices in Early Childhood Education at Western Illinois University as a Webmaster. I LOVE my job!
