Heather's Story
Wow! Where do I begin? After high school I tried a year at Bethel up in Minnesota. It was just too cold for me and I missed Pete! So, I came back and finished my education degree at Whitewater, though Pete and I didn't stay together. (P.S. Pete, if you read this, drop me a line. I'd love to see where life's journey took you. :) If someone else reads this who stayed in touch with him, ask him to write.) I got a teaching job at Reek Elementary School in Lake Geneva and taught there for 4 years. I finally decided I'd had enough of the cold and needed a change. Florida! I taught for one year, but took a permanent job as an associate editor for Harcourt Inc. There I stayed until this year. I'm going back to teaching and am really looking forward to it. I just got married to a wonderful Southern gentleman! We get along famously! I know there are a million other details, but I won't bore you with them right now. I'd love to hear from anyone who remembers me from high school...even if you didn't like me at the time. (Oh, come on, I know there were at least a few! LOL) I've changed a lot and am really enjoying who I truly am. So, I hope to hear from you!
