Heather's Story
Life
I'm married with four children and one grandchild. YA Grandmother at 50! My husband Mark and grandchild Jade are in the picture. We are into birdwatching and photography and have travelled from the Maritimes to Alaska. Looking forward to a cruise in January 2008 and France in May 2008. We had a Goldwing for a couple of years and traded it for 2 touring motorcycles (Yamahas) and enjoyed every minute. We recently upgraded to a 2007 Mustang convertible and are a little more comfortable and can ride longer.

We have 3 cats and 1 dog (lots of hair in our household!)
Workplace
I started with the National Library in Ottawa in 1971 and changed departments in 1980, Supply and Services Canada, Science Directorate. I transferred to Edmonton with Supply and Services and have worked since 1981 in the now named Public Works and Government Services Canada office in Procurement. I achieved the position of Manager, Edmonton Acquisitions and will be retiring Dec 2008 and looking forward to it!
