Hector's Story
Joined the military in Aug. 99, got married in Dec.99. Was stationed in Germany in 00-03. While in Germany i did a peace keeping tour in Macedonia. Then stationed in Fort Hood 03-05, did an Iraqi freedom tour 03-04, wounded and recieved Purple Heart. Then stationed at Fort Bliss 05-08, did another Iraqi freedom tour in 06, but only for 2 months. ransfered to Walter Reed Army Hospital in D.C., for about 8 months for Therapy. Recieved 2nd Purple Heart. I was then Medically Retired from the military as the rank of SSG in Aug.08. Now attending the EPCC Law Enforcement Academy hoping to become a Police Officer. I have two wonderfull children, one boy and one girl. He hopes to play for the Dallas Cowboys and she hopes to be a Veterinarian.
