Heidi's Story
My biggest accomplishment since High School is completing college (first in my family!) and now my Master's Degree in Educational Technology. I now share a home with my adult daughter and son-in-law in Connecticut. It took me 10 years to go home to Indiana after I moved to New England, and as I am sure everyone thinks, Terre Haute has changed a LOT in 40 years. I work as a Teacher Librarian AND Computer Teacher in an elementary school in a beautiful little town in Central Mass. ve been lucky enough to find love again. My only daughter is all grown up and married. New England is an incredible place to live! Any activity you want to do is only an hour or two away, the ocean, hiking, skiing, shows, museums! It's incredible! I love the Red Sox and I love the Patriots, and I have been very lucky to go to many games. And yes it hurts when I have to root against my old hometown teams! My family adores trips to Disney World and Florida, and I'd love a winter home there some day. I am now starting to look forward to retirement (7 more years!) and hopefully grandchildren.
