Heidi's Story
Life
I rotated my high school time between Hall High and Ole Main. I should have graduated in 1986 but ended up going on sabbatical half-way through my Junior year. I went back and did 11th grade again at Hall and then graduated from Ole Main in 1987. I was at Ole Main for half of 10th, half of 11th (1st time) and all of my senior year. I was at Hall half of 10th and all of my junior year the second time. Its all very confusing...
I worked as a VISTA for two years in Little Rock. I married in 1990 and divorced in 1993. I had a baby boy in 1991. You may remember I already had a daughter.
I spent some time at UALR and then got a job with the '92 Campaign to elect Clinton/Gore. In 1993 started working for the Clinton Administration.
I now live in Metro DC sharing a house with two roommates and my son when he comes home from college. For work I do computer training, property management, logistics for events, graphic design and a host of other things that keep me going a mile a minute.
I'm very active in volunteer work on my college campus, in church, and in my community.

o myself in school. I dressed a little freaky as a Junior and Senior, but who doesn't. I miss a lot of people I knew through drama, stagecraft, and art classes. Haven't really been able to touch base the way I'd like too.
College
I only went one semester at UALR, but now I'm back in at a really good community college in Alexandria, VA for some more credits trying for my degree in Marketing. I've been at it for a couple years now, going part-time. I'm actually on the tail-end now and very close to transfering.
I joined Phi Theta Kappa and served as the Public Relations Coordinator, Vice President, and then President of my chapter. Phi Theta Kappa is the international honor society for two-year colleges. I'm very active at school and feel like I'm making a difference.
My latest project has been a Women's Center that I've been working with the school administration to put together. We've been successful and now I'm working on developing a student interest group to augment the support of the center. We would like to partner with the campus's Gay/Straight Alliance to put together a Sexual Education program for students on the campus.
