Heidi's Story
Life
After EC I got a B.S. in Criminal Justice at CSUS. Went to work at Yolo and Sac County Probation. Stayed on in Sac in the juvenile center where I met my husband-NO not an inmate! A co-worker. We worked together for 4 years before dating. I transfered to the DA's office to do child support enforcement. Believe it or not, it's a lot of fun-paper investigating. I had two children, Mariah in 97 and Josh in 99. I was able to stay home to raise them, which was a blessing. Two months after my son was born we moved to MN. Talk about life change! School
The high school years still give me night terrors. I have so many regrets, mostly when I ran away jr year to live in Santa Barbara. Mr. Gibson is still the leading "adult" when I try to explain to my kids about respect. I am still very close with Christine Sinander and Anne Travis. I am so thankful that their friendships have lasted a life time.
College
College was one of the most fun time periods in my life. I was very happy to study and did well. I enjoyed being a part of the American Criminal Justice Association and the Criminal Justice Honor Society. I worked full time and graduated with out a single loan!
