Helen's Story
After graduating in 1976, I married for 26 years with 3 children, 2 girls and 1 boy. As life sometime gives us lemons,, my marriage failed and 2 years later the Lord brought me my soul mate. I have now been married for 19 years to Scott Eskelson, we have 1 shared daughter. We have 5 grandchildren. We moved to Hawaii in 2007 but due to my aging and failing parents ( they are now with the Lord ) we returned to the mainland in 2010. Helen is now retired yet owned a gift basket company in Portland., just for fun she says. Helen worked for 16years at OHSU prior to her retirement. Arts. I have learned the art of quilt making dabble in interior decorating. My schools include Portland Christian High School and later attended The Art Institutes (AutoCAD / Space Planning, Tropical Design, Home Stagging). I now works(ed) at Retired. In 2016 we moved to Longview WA for 3 years to take care of Scotts mother until she went home to Heaven. I then became ill with Breast Cancer in early 2019. Yet another move in early 2020 we moved to Winchester, Oregon. I am now Cancer free and thank the Lord every day for his healing hand. Douglas County is my husbands home town, We are enjoying the much warmer climate and more family and friends.
