Helen's Story
I'm happily settled in Camp Verde, AZ, and as of this date (11/13/09) the last of my ten children is a senior in high school. Brings back memories, indeed. My husband and I live in the same place we have been at since we moved here 32 years ago (except we had a fire in 2002 and rebuilt on the same foundation, so the house is relatively new). Our kids are great and now grown and spread all over the country. We can't afford to all get together often, but...Expand for more
when we do, we have a good time. We have 11 grandchildren and one on the way. I've spent the last 12 years teaching elementary school, first in the gifted program at the public school and currently as a music teacher at a local charter school. Kids are great -- they give me great stories to tell and in this small town, there's someone who recognizes me wherever I go.
