Louise's Story
Life
I joined the Navy from 1973-77. GI Bill paid for my teaching degree...although not my Masters. I've lived in the Longview, Texas area since 1979. I have been a public school teacher since 1985. I can retire in 2-3 years..we'll see. I married John Hagen in March 2005. He grew up in Longview and owns a couple of businesses in town. I have two married sons who live in the area and a grandson born August 7, 2007. I also have two little granddaughters. They call me "Wezie". My passions are ...Expand for more

I became a mother for the first time in 1982 and gave up the military. I still miss it. It was so good for me....helped me grow....paid for my college degree....VA loan helped me buy my first house. I wouldn't trade my time in for any other experience.
