Helen's Story
After leaving CB in 1995, I went on to CRC for a couple years before transferring to UC Davis. I graduated with a BA degree in English Literature (go MR. KIRRENE!!)from UCD. Immediately after, I went to Sac State and earned a Master's degree in the same major.
That's where my fun really started.......right after college I moved to Madrid, Spain for 2 years. I wanted to learn Spanish (since I had always sucke...Expand for more
d in Spanish in highschool), and I taught ESL classes to Spaniards in Madrid. I traveled around Europe a bit and met lots of interesting people. It was an awesome experience!
Now I'm back in Sac and teaching full time at a private school in Folsom. I teach English Lit and Spanish language classes. So that's my last 14 (wow!) years in a nutshell....email me, I'd love to hear from old friends from CB!!
