Patience and perseverance have a magical affect before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish.
John Quincy Adams
I am a native of Valley Alabama where I was born, raised and grew up. Life in Alabama does not have many pleasant memories as a child, times was very hard. Our family struggled throughout my childhood and we barely had a pot to piss in and clearly didn't have a window to throw it out of.

portunities by attending night school while I worked in the Cotton Mill to get my GED. From there, I decided to take a shot at an Associate, then Bachelors and just this year, (2010) completed my Masterâs degree. I am very proud of my accomplishments.
But life has not always dealt me an easy hand in that I am 2 times divorcee basically having to raise a total of 4 children on my own. I raised 2 children from each marriage without a lot of financial or moral support from either husband. Sad to say, my second husband passed away without getting to know his children, May God Bless his Sole. He tried his best to be a good father, but just didn't have the experience at fatherhood.
Moving from Alabama in 96 to the big Atl has been a challenge in itself. The Atl is a fast moving crime riddle and mean spirited place where you "sink or swimâ. The flip side to that is you must be an aggressor to make it in this city or you will find yourself on the streets or dead in an alley someplace. Since I've been here, I learned to swim in order to survive and Iâve done pretty well, but it has not been easy. If I have any regrets in my life, I'd have to say it was making the decision to move here instead of someplace else where the opportunities for growth may have been a little more in reach than they were in Alabama. But whatâs done is done and we all know we canât go back and change the things in our lives we feel we screwed up, right. Thanks for reading my Bio
