Henry's Story
I joined the Army about a year after graduating from high school. My first assignment took me to Germany where I met my wife of 40 years. We spent most of my military career in Germany and both our girls were born and raised there. I retired from the Army in 1995 and went to work for the Ar...Expand for more
my as a Department of the Army Civilian in Heidelberg, Germany. I transferred to the Defense Commissary Agency at Ft. Lee, Virginia in 2007 and I now work for the Defense Contract Management Agency at Ft. Lee. We've settled in Chester, Virginia and both our girls live in the RVA area as well.
