Henry's Story
Life
Currently I live in New Jersey with my wife of nearly 14 years, Eileen, and our four wonderful children Sean, Ciara, Victoria (Tori), and Megan.
School
After 35 years, memories fade. I still remember the proms, playing sports (or trying anyway), and a few good friends.
College
For me it's which one? It seems sometimes that I was a professional student, getting a BA at U of R, MPH at Yale, PhD at U of MD, and finally an MD at New York Medical College.
Workplace
I'm doing what I always dreamed of. I am a Gynecologic Oncolog...Expand for more
ist in a University setting, caring for patients and teaching residents and medical students. For the last 2 years my students have recognized me by awarding me "teacher of the Year" honors.
Military
I enlisted in the US Navy in 1981. The Navy sent me to med school. After a civilian residency in OB/GYN I went on active duty but was allowed to complete a fellowship in Gyn Onc at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. I was then assigned to Naval Medical Center San Diego where I was head of Gyn Onc and eventually became Vice Chairman of OB/GYN.
