Herb's Story
Life
I've been living and working in Africa off and on since 1977, first in East Africa (Kenya and Uganda), then North Africa (Algeria and Tunisia), and now southern Africa (Mocambique). Am currently First Secretary/Management at the US Embassy in Maputo and hope to finally return to the States in 2004 for good.

tate, and Rutgers graduate school, I joined the Air Force, did 20 years either at embassies in arms sales or at the Pentagon, and then transitioned to the State Department. I've been living in Eastern and Southern Africa for the better part of the past 25 years and currently work at the US Embassy in Mocambique as the First Secretary/Management.
