I played the Tuba in the band starting in the 9th grade. I attended Southern University, and graduated in 1962 with a major in Accounting.
I served in the U.S. Army, and was stationed in Alaska. After my dischage, I decided to stay in Alaska for one year. That year has extended to almost 45 years.
I retired after working for 30 years in the telecommunications industry.I retired in 1995.

weekly. I am a lay pastor, and I get to preach when invited to fill in when the pastor is away, or for some special service.
My first job was at Good Citizens Life Insurance Company in New Orleans, where I got paid $85 weekly to do the accounting. What I remember most about it is my future mother-in-law worked there, and she introduce me to her daughter. On June 13, 2009 we will celebrate our 45th anniversary. Her mother knew how to pick them. :-)
