Hillary's Story
Life
Hi. My name is Hillary Marie Hetrick. I was born on June 13, 1984 in Berkeley, California. I lived in Antioch for 10 1/2 years. I went to a lot of schools. In 1995, I moved to Hanford, California. I lived there for 8 1/2 years. Now, I live back in Antioch, and am attending Los Medanos College. Later on, I want to attend UC Santa Cruz. My goals in life are to become a Nurse Practitioner and move to the East Coast. If that doesn't happen, I at least want to move out of California.

I attended a total of 10 schools. I know what you're all thinking; I moved alot. I sure did. Here's my schools:(Pittsburg) First Baptist Head Start, Los Medanos Elementary, Heighland Elementary,(Antioch) Marsh Elementary, Bidwell Elementary, Kimball Elementary,(Hanford) Jeferson Elementary, Engvall Elementary, Lakeside Middle School, and Hanford West High School. I was a bookworm. I loved to read. In my early years, you could find me on the monkey bars with a couple of friends or playing hopscotch or basketball on the blacktop. didn't know a lot. Inside the classroom I liked to draw and do puzzles. My favorite subject was music. I enjoyed singing and playing the recorder. In middle school I was usually sitting on the bleachers reading a book or writing poetry. In the classroom I did a lot of reading out loud. I was a good speller. In the afternoon I was busy with extracurricular activities like band practice or softball practice, depending on the time of year. In high school, If you were looking for me I would be in the career center or the library. By this time I was no longer a total outcast. I had my purpose. People realized that I was acturally smart, and liked having me help them with their homework.
College
Hello. Just for your reading pleasure, I will give you my college biography. I attend Los Medanos College in Pittsburg. In Spring 2005, I will be accepted into the LVN (Licensed Vocational Nursing)program. Presently, I am doing what I love best; writing. I get to write articles for the "LMC Experience," the college newspaper. Next semester, I will get to work on my academic classes that are needed for the LVN program, but in the meantime, I will be studying for semester finals.
