I hope my friends just remember me...PERIOD LOL! One of my best childhood friends is Jodi P. We were in elementary school together, and coincidentally I found her HERE at Classmates after 35 years! Ive thought about her often over the years, and hope we can reconnect soon. (I messaged ya, GF, holla back at me!) My favorite way to relax is to launch my seadoo and cruise down the Colorado River, or sit on the shore and fish. The wildest thing I did in high school was go to Home Ec class and wait for the sub to do roll call, then I would sneak out with my girlfriend and go to the doughnut shop. The funniest memory from high school happened during driver's ed class. We would be in the student driver car, and our teacher (who was about 150 years old and had been there FOREVER) would actually fall asleep while we were driving! We ended up out by the salt flats before he woke up and realized we were WAY late for our next class! GOOD TIMES! I was born and raised in SLC. I moved to southern UT and met my ex hubby when I was 18. We lived in CO for about a year then moved to Elko, NV. My oldest 2 sons were born there. We took a vacay to Laughlin NV in early spring, and the weather was perfect.....at least until June when the temps can reach 120+! We moved here on the 4th of July and it was 128 degrees...OMG what was I thinking?!? Then I look out and see the beautiful blue waters that run thru this desert wasteland and I KNOW why Im here.
