Life

Drawing and donating to non-profits. Did a stint in the Army, after I did the Marines, of course. The Army Sucked, but I have good friends from it. Last name Saxton now.
Want to find MGSGT Smith from El Toro.
School
Mr. Smether's in Washington State History and his spelling tests. I found him tough and inspiring. He was easy to work with.---My biggest incident involved a fight in the 10th grade waiting for a ride home after the bus levy failed. That was the defing moment for me. I hope she forgives me the injuries I caused.---My biggest crush, he knows. And so did Dave Ford and his buddies and Dan Dean who politely got hold of the note I had written to the nameless person, of which I destroyed and then again responded to. Dave tried to read it to me in my class right after lunch. I'm still grateful to Dan.----it was a brave thing and I would do it again.---I don't feel I have much to say to my class, I was excluded then. And I don't seek to make myself appear better than what I was, or wasn't then. I cared about the teasing in a sense it was an annoyance and difficult to avoid. But I never stopped being me or apologizing for me to please anyone. I still don't.
College
Where are you Larissa and J'Nae? Judy? I miss you all. teachers too. My last name has changed and Jesse might drop a message with me, if yo...Expand for more
u ask.
People made the whole experience and the grounds. The students were top notch in our class. And I'm grateful for the experience. I think I had it somewhat easier than most in some ways, harder than others in different ways. But I think all in all, it was good for me.
I'm still not a painter, but I draw some cool stuff and donate a lot to charity. God is good to me. I still have a lot of room for improvement with my art, but it's gettin' there. And the things I did learn in college are in use in my art these days from color mixing to composition to photography and slide taking. It made a difference.
Workplace
From the military to volunteer militay veteran charity. I flipped a couple burgers for while, between stints and worked Bill Miller's Bar B Que in San Antonio, Texas. But the military has been my life for the most part and my hubby is from the Army and all but one man I dated military experienced. I don't understand the civilian brain, I guess. And it's a commonality between us. A connection, a relation, a way of thinking, I guess. I miss the comradrie of active duty. Unless you've done it, it's hard to explain.
I have the same attitude of loyalty and military mindedness in all my jobs and in being good at whatever I set my hand to.
Military
I didn't do all the time I listed for El Toro at El Toro but combined all the mess into one.
I miss Master Gunny Smith. I miss Larsen. I miss Gunner Clement. I miss almost everyone. And I wish them all success.
My last name is Saxton now and I live in Washington state. Look me up sometime. We can pow-wow.
