I am (and have always been) a writer, folksinger, poet, iconoclast, ultra-liberal, aging hippie, and a dozen other labels. None of them really fit too well, just as my name has never fit me.

Although I live in the heart of the rural mountains, I am just 30 minutes from Asheville, NC, one of the greatest sanctuaries of forward thinking in America. If you've never been to Asheville, I warmly invite you to check it out.
