Howard's Story
My first job was at Alexander's Dept. Stores, where I got paid $60.00 to Be Head-Of-Stock. What I remember most about it is Long hours, hard work.
I advanced at Alexanders and after 5 years left to become the boyswear buyer at E.J. Korvette's. After 6 years and much domestic and foreign travel I left Korvette and persued a career in sales. Today I am an adjunct professor at Bronx Community College and The College of Mount Saint Vincent. I am semi-retired and spend my time teaching, donating my time at the Rockland Family Shelter,and The Hearthstone Alzheimers Home. I have published a book and am in the process of seeking a publisher for my second book.
