Howard's Story

Life Left the Bronx very near the end of '65. The Bronx has never left me, however, no matter how completely the world we that knew there so long ago disappeared. In late '07 I found myself little more than a mile away from the old stomping grounds and just had to trek up and down those streets one more time. Oh, the memories! ... The excitement! ... How I wished even one of the old crowd was there to share those moments! I've kept in con...Expand for more
tact with a few friends these many years, and have been in touch with a few dozen more at least once or twice (I made a surprise phone call on one old friend while vacationing in Massachusetts in August '07. We managed to get together for a while that Sunday evening. Even after 38 years the stories, the laughs, the oh-so-many imprints on our lives came flying out. Too short a get-together after too long a time! But we did it! Thanks Pete!
