Howard's Story
2018, time has pasted again. It does go quickly and in the Time of Fascism Time of Trump it can't go by quick enough. Here's hoping the Blue wave is a tsunami! Then and only then will we have any sane governance in this country.
Counting the days until I am 66 so at least if I want to retire that is an option. We finally go pay raises in this state for teachers. However I am still below what I made 15 years ago in CA. I have 120 graduate hours with a Masters degree and don't make $60, 000.00 as a teacher! Thank god for the Cat business.
Going on my 6th year in a relationship, with Thom Rowley. It is the longest in my history.
"Live fast, Love hard, and die young" was my motto. I missed the dying young part. So like the song Desperado by the Eagles, I let somebody love me.
I was elected as the Southwest Regional Director for Cat Fanciers Association in June. We have a real problem when at 63 I am one of the younger people doing this hobby. Nowadays young people don't think about animal...Expand for more
s . In School I raised everything. I showed horses in 4-H had all sorts of pets, but children now hardly have a dog or a cat. I want to get young people interested in this hobby so I am perusing trying to join up with 4-H.
My health is better than it has been for a while. Quadruple by-pass in 2010, and since then about 9 stents. I have made it almost a year without an angiogram. I had one in September of 2017. I have lost weight , I still need 8 more to go to get to my goal of 155 lbs. I quit eating wheat products. Watch Netflix "what's the matter with wheat" or read Wheat Belly. It will tell you why not to eat it. My sister Cindy Petrovich and her husband when on it and after seeing them drop the weight, I decided to do it as well. It has worked for me as also!
So here is an update for anyone interested . If you want to see my cats just go to clowntowncattery.com you will see 47 years of work back to my first cat Clown, I got her in 1971. How you are doing well and are happy.
