Ian's Story

The very much abbreviated, good-humoured, but still true, story of my life, so far... Born in 1946. Bannantyne Elementary School: Met my True Love. Wrote for a High School Scholarship in Grade 7. Didn't win either. Verdun High School: Was the pioneer of social distancing. Started to go bald in Grade 10. Reluctantly entered VHS public speaking contest. Made the final. Didn't win. graduate, though! 🙂 After graduating, started working at Canadian Pacific Railway, as an office boy; and while there met the woman who would become my wife. Next worked at International News, a newsstand/bookstore near the Forum on St. Catherine Street. Then worked at Canadian National Railways as a "glorified" office boy until I was "jobolished" in 2018. And the Adventure continues...
