Ian's Story
Life
After high school, worked for 10 years in banking while finishing my undergrad degree part time. Then went back to school full time in 1981 for Masters in Public Policy & then PhD in Public Policy. On graduation in 1988, accepted offer from Carleton University Sprott School of Business.
Taught across former communist East Europe, Russia, Ukraine for American (SUNY, U Washington, Carnegie, U Pittsburgh) and Canadian (Calgary, Dalhousie, UQAM, Ca...Expand for more

Also taught in MBA in China, Iran, Cuba, Georgia, Mexico, Chile, Argentina.
Moved to Monterey in 2001 on sabbatical to teach for Cal State U. Was fortunate to live in Pebble Beach facing the Pacific Ocean. Returned to Ottawa 2004.
Do a fair amount of media analysis and commentary on CBC TV and CBC Radio, CTV, Global, Globe and Mail et al.
