Ian's Story
Life
I am now working as a translator at an accounting firm in Montreal.
In 2003, I spoke with my birth mother for the first time; her name is Susan Case. We get along really well and she's really sweet.
I now speak fluent French and Spanish and conversational Portuguese. I continue to enjoy languages as much as ever. That explains my great love for foreign movies, as well as indie films. I often atten...Expand for more

After graduating high school, I completed an honours B.A. in translation at the University of Ottawa, which included a semester of study in Brussels, Belgium. That helped me polish up my French and boost my confidence. It also made me better appreciate Canada and the advantages we have.
I moved from Ottawa/Hull to Montreal in 1999 and have been very happy here ever since.
