ingrid's Story
The year after graduation, I was a foreign exchange student in Mexico. Upon my return, I attended Keystone Jr. College in Pennsylvania, received my AA, then transferred to SUNY at Cortland where I received my BA in Elementary Education. After I graduated from Cortland, I worked at JFK airport for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines for several years. During that time, I got married and had my first daughter. lmart for a few years and had my second daughter. When both my girls were in school, I started teaching Kindergarten and have been doing so for the past 25 years. In addition to my husband and daughters, I have 3 grandchildren, 2 step-sons, and 3 step-grandsons. Since I last wrote this, there have been changes in my family... 2 more grandchildren have been added and sadly, my husband passed away 2 years ago after a 6 year battle with cancer. In August 2020 I retired from teaching.
