Iris's Story
Hello fellow classmates.
Let's see, I have been married for 20 years this June, I have two kids, a daughter who will be 19 years old and attends Cuesta College, and a son 15 who is a freshman at Kingsburg High School. I have lived in Kingsburg for 16 years. We currently have a 17 year old foreign exchange student from Berlin, Germany, his name is Lenz and he is with us until June. It has been a great experience having him in our home. Lenz left us on June 12th to go back to Germany to be with his family and I have to say, it broke our hearts. He was a blessing to our family and will be apart of our lives forever.
I turned 40 in 2005, as did most of you. nd best thing I had ever done. Of course my body has never been the same. :-)
My husband, Dan is in the produce business. He sells tree fruit and table grapes. However, he would love to one day own a little vineyard.
Well, the 25 year reunion was a blast! It was very small, but at the same time very intimate. It gave all of us the chance to get to know one another and their spouses a little better. Bass Lake was beauatiful and the small class of 83 was the main attraction at the Pines Bar. Lots of pictures and you will all get to see them at the 30 year. For those of you who were unable to attend, I hope to see you at the 30 year.
We will be keeping the reunions in Visalia and in October for now on, this way we hope to get a better turn out. I have been to all of the reunions and have had a lot of fun. As for myself, it has given me the opportunity to get to know many of you even better.
