Iris's Story
Life
I'm still happy and full of mischief. Have been married for 44 years to a man that has filled my life with adventure. He played professional baseball and is presently a coach and scout for the Boston Red Sox. I have 2 grown children and have a 7 year old Grandson and a 4 year old grandaughter.
Unfortunately, I am sporting a roomate in my head. I was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in 2006.. I had gamma knife radiation surgery in Apr 2010. It causes some pain and we...Expand for more
are treating it with medications. I have my next MRI in Sept to see if it has grown. I feel positive about it and now I have an excuse for being goofy all my life.
We had a wonderful 51st reunion Aug 2011. We were unable to find a lot of the classmates but the ones that did attend really enjoyed being together again.
I still keep in touch with old school friends that will always be special to me. Friends are an important part of my life.
