Irma's Story

I hope they remeber me the way I was in high school. I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right. Sometimes by letting everything out or just giving everyone the silent treatment. The wildest thing I ever did in high school was staying really late on prom night with my high school sweetheart and the 1st love of my young life. Actually I do have a hero and I met him in October of 2000. His name is Mark Maas and his has been my insperation to getting my teaching degree. He has helped me grow into the person that I am now. I was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. My husband and I moved up to Whitewater, Wisconsin with our two children in Sept. of 1999. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is René Armando Lozano Jr., because he was someone special in my life. Yes, life doesn't always turn out the way you expect. I got my wish to get marry in a white wedding gown, the whole works. But the in-laws weren't what I expected including the rest of his family. That is why I am glad to have moved 1,500 miles away from them. I've learned that kids don't always share the same interests as you do. And they have a very weird way of thinking and doing things. In other words it's hard raising kids. There is a teacher that I would like to see again and it's my English teacher Anita Ochoa but I don't know if she is still around. I also wou...Expand for more
ld like to see my favorite counselor Ramiro Ramirez. If I won $100 million, I'd give some of it to the catholic church , then spend the rest on paying of all our bills, buying a house and for my kids college. To be truly happy I would have like to have married René Armando Lozano Jr. my high school love and to have grown old with him til the end of our lives. Well my first crush actually did become my boyfriend for more than four years. He started flirting when he got his first job and then after graduation he didn't like the fact that I recieved a full grant to attend Pan American University and asked me to choose. I actually thought he really wanted to break up???? My best friend would tell you I'm kind and caring, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as stuck up. No of course not I dress like a mature woman which my hubby does not like but I am not a thin as I was in high school. If I could get one do-over I would have worked on my degree first before getting married. My oldest friend is Mary Cruz( Valero) and we met at PAU my first year there. We are very different but we clicked since day one. And to this day we continue to have a very strong friendship. My childhood memory I will never forget is the loved I had for my grandmother Lupita Villa. She will always be in my prayers and thoughts. My current age is 47. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be old. I was so completely wrong.
