Irv's Story
Life
It started off a bit rough after high-school, with 2 years at ICC followed by a year of the proverbial 'finding myself'. It's picked up nicely though once I got all that out of the way. I went back to school full time at Bradley and got my degree in Business Finance. I spent 6 weeks of my summer before my senior year in a Study Abroad program, where I traveled throughout Europe with about 80 other Bradley students. I still rank this as the best 6 weeks of my life.
After graduating I got a job with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) in Chicago and moved to Lincoln Park. After a couple of years I got married and had a couple of kids. The marriage didn't work out very well, but the kids are awesome! I ended up getting ...Expand for more
divorced after a few years and have since remaried and had two more kids (yes, I'm insane). I finally left Accenture after 9 years last November and have started my own business. I currently own a webiste (GuestOfOwner.com) and am also working as an independant consultant in the IT industry.
While with Accenture, I got to travel all over the US. I have 'lived' for at least 3 months in Chicago, Birmingham, Austin, NYC, Seattle and now Denver. I've been living here in Denver for about 3 years now and love it. While I've contemplated moving back to Seattle (my wife is from there), I have a feeling we'll be staying here and enjoying the sun for a while. We enjoy skiing and biking regularly and love going on walks with our 4 kids.
