Update Retired life has been pretty good. We're not rich, but we get by. I was playing in three bands for a while. 8 Balls imploded last summer, but is reconstituting as The Remnants. I quit Let It Roll. The Deep Woods Band is still going, and has several shows scheduled for this spring and summer. 1April2022 I was laid off from Hewlett Packard in September 08. qualified for federal financial aid, so I'm back in college, studying electrical engineering technology at Portland Community College. I had to quit the Deep Woods band. I just can't make it to rehearsals. 21 May 2009 Graduated from PCC in 2010, but never did find a job in the biomedical field, which was my goal. I got a job with a company in Tualatin in 2011. Eventually, I got tired of living away from home, so I decided to retire. In 2012, I toured as bass player with a reggae/funk band from Louisiana, Henry Turner, Jr. and Flavor. I'm back with the Deep Woods Band, and I'll be flying to Louisiana in May to rejoin Henry turner, Jr. and Flavor for the Summer tour. February 2013 The past couple of years have been spent mostly playing bass guitar with The Deep Woods Band, 8 Balls and, more recently, Let It Roll. The Deep Woods Band is working on our first studio album, Trouble in the Woods. We hope to have it finished this year.
