Israel's Story
well, after high school i went to the university of texas to become an engineer. after one year i decided that wasn't for me so i transferred to swt (now known as texas state) where i ran through about five majors. i didn't know what so i took my time and tried on different majors for size.
i finally earned my b.s. in mathematics (and a minor in anthropolgy) with the intent of becoming an actuary. as i was studying for the first acturarial exam i realized that stuff was way over my head. i needed to have a knowledge of economics and finance, of which i had none. so i figured if was going to go back to school for a few classes i might as well go to graduate school. i went back and earned a master's in accounting.

while i was taking my sweet time in school i was livin' and lovin' and lovin' and livin'. I have been happily married for a little over a year to my college sweetheart and we have no kids,
i suppose at some point down the line we may have kids, but not anytime soon. maybe after our 20 yr reunion.
there are 3 individuals from high school that i still keep in contact with. i consider these guys my best friends and we have kept the good times rolling since we graduated.
i do regret not keeping in touch with a lot of other people. i had some really great friends back then, it's a shame we all lost touch.
