j's Story
After 17 years of stay in USA, I returned to the Island in 1998.Life in America was fabulous with all the ups and downs, I had a great time, including travel adventures, auto accidents and other major, minor escapades. But when it all boils down to, what made it grand was the people, with the exception of few nut cases. It always was the people of America, business or otherwise, who made the difference in my life.
I worked as a Sr. Research Consultant at SJF. That was my last job. Upon retuning, I decided to give something back to where my life started. Hence I set up a consultancy for young prospects that got the will to venture into international higher academia....Expand for more
I focused on underprivileged prospects with higher talents. Eventually, it turned into an engagement process where I train, coach and teach, especially, international language testing programs.
Since most of the prospects were under funded, I had to strategically position them to win foreign scholarships. I did score a better success rate, and twenty percent of consulting hours was done on pro bono basis.
Since I myself am running out of funds now, I am making a power decision to move into much hyped, booming travel sector in the Island. And I am targeting a consultancy for academic, research and higher cause based travel.
