Jack's Story
I hope to be remembered as someone who was kind and considerate. I was also a bit of a teacher's pet, but that's who I was.
I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a pretty good idea. As it turns out, they were right. I had a thirty-one year career in K-12 teaching here in Alberta and I am teaching part time at St. Joseph's College at the University of Alberta in my retirement.

At the end of sixth grade I was with a group of guys who jumped out of the classroom window on the last day of school and rode our bikes off as soon as we had our report cards.
Since 1971 I have lived in and around Edmonton, Alberta. I came here to go to graduate school at the University and just liked the place enough to stay. Now, however, I am longing for some warmer climate during the winter months. It must be a sign of age!
