My wife and I just celebrated our 42th wedding aniver. We raised 6 wonderful children and 4 of them are married and have 5 grand children at this time. We are empty nesters now. I now work for Aptuit which bought out the clinical packaging part of Quintiles International. We do the packaging of the drugs that are sent out for clinical trial to gain approval of the FDA to be approved for sale to the public. We also ship the drug to the various sites world wide for the actual trials. I work in Return Goods , checking in all of the drug that is returned from clinicals trial all over the world.I used to work for Rainen Business Interior for 20 years but left because of new owernership. 6 months after I left they went bankrupt. My wife Joyce just died Jan 6,2008. We were married for 42 almost 43 years. I just retired from my job Jan.11,2008. This is going to be some thing that I am not sure that I am ready for. o worry about who is going to take care of her while i'm gone.
Well just to bring this up to date I have made it through the first year after my wife's death. The week of her death renewed a lot of the bad times but I managed to make it though.I must admit that I am not looking forward to another my second Valentine's day alone that will be tough to handle. To me Valentine's day was always so special for 43 years and now to have it just another day is really hard to accept. This is just part of the life and you have to adjust to all to the changes that come your way and I am doing just that. I have made big strides in my getting used to being alone. I have even started talking to some women on the internet. To all of you that are in relationships enjoy your Valentine's day to the fullest and enjoy our partner.
