Jack's Story
Life
After high school I bounced from UCSB to UCLA and back again, finally getting a teaching credential in elementary education. I married my master teacher (now, that's an interesting tale), and settled in teaching junior high reading, math, English, and technology (computer) classes. school in Carpinteria, CA, and my 33nd year overall. My wife, Lynette, is an elementary school principal in Goleta, and we live in Santa Barbara. I have a wonderful daughter, Mallory. I am looking forward to retirement. We summer in the high sierras (June Lake) and work too hard the rest of the year. Cheers to everyone!
