jack's Story

Hello, Well, like most retired people I do no more than I have to. Since my wife Margaret passed away in 2005, I have moved to Chemainus on Vancouver Island. I have decided to list my current home (no to both Leo Peloquin and Janet White, you cannot have the listing). I am looking for an older restored home that is so common in the Chemainus/ Ladysmith area. We will see what happens. The worst case scenario is that we stay here (my dog and I). Just purchased a trumpet (after over 50 years ...Expand for more
of not playing) and will give it a try. There are both senior's bands and jazz bands in the area. Who knows, perhaps I will give them a try. Will insist that I be allowed to sing, though.. Mr. Turner would not allow me to sing with the school dance band. He maintained that we had enough problems playing the trumpet. Obviously, he had never heard me singing in the shower? Time to go. Hope that every thing is fine for those of you who read this posting. Fondest regards, "Black Jack" Naylor.
